The Group had used its extensive China experience and its broad network in China to expand its property investments and developments particularly in the real estate and hotel sectors. The major projects that the Group had participated during the period were The Oscar Hotel in Haikou, Hainan Intellectual Property Service Zone (Hainan Province), Century Place-Kaifeng, World Expo-Kaifeng and Holiday Inn Express Kaifeng City Center (Henan Province), Project Stone and Project Hub in Shanghai.
